Personal interest

My personal interest includes reading, drawing and painting. I regularly visit galleries and artists social gatherings to have more involvement within the art community. I volunteer in cross community activities, in these events I do dance, drama, design, face painting and creative workshops.

The position of my job required, helping open the gallery, keep the area clear and clean. Storing and hanging art work, organising and working in events: such as social gatherings and shows.

Volunteer, Steering group, 11/10/17 to 21/03/18

Beat Carnival-11-47 Boyd Street, Belfast BT13 2GU.

The position of my job required, attending meetings, workshops and event planning. Through this I did, costume making, dance and cross community work. I volunteered in two parades, The Belfast lantern Parade and St Patrick’s Day Parade. Both events encouraged the involvement of youth within communities. Both events had workshop of craft making and dance. Doing this allowed experience how the artist can help within communities.
